AIDA 4 MASTER
Our Master Freediver course is for experienced freedivers who want to expand their knowledge and reach the limits of recreational freediving. This is the highest level of recreational training and arguably the most technically advanced AIDA course. For those who want to assist instructors or eventually become professionals, this course is your starting point. Our course refines your skills and builds expert-level safety and supervision techniques so that you can dive comfortably deeper and guide other freedivers.
Master course consists of:
three theory sessions
two breathing and stretching sessions
two confined water sessions
four open water sessions
one exam to pass at the end
Details of the course:

During the theory sessions:
You will learn advanced physics (Dalton’s and Henry’s Law) and physiology
Decompression sickness and Nitrogen Narcosis
How to use Mouthfill equalization and FRC (Failure Residual Capacity) diving
How to supervise students and set up open water equipment (knots and lines)

During the static apnea session:
Our instructor will teach you how to lead full-body and lung stretching warm-ups
So you will be able to coach others and extend your breath-hold times significantly

During the dynamic apnea session:
You will learn how to assist an instructor during pool training
And you will perfect your streamlining and rescue skills for performance dives

During the open water sessions:
You will practice Mouthfill equalization and diving on passive exhale (FRC)
Our instructor will help you master deep dives in Free Immersion and Constant Weight: freefall technique - efficient turn - advanced equalization management
You will practice advanced Safety and Rescue procedures from depth (including rescue from 25m)
You will learn how to set up the dive line safely
Introduction to Variable Weight diving (optional)
Progressive adaptation to depths beyond 30 meters.
To successfully complete the AIDA 4 Master Freediver course you will have to perform a 3:30 minutes breath-hold, swim 70m in Dynamic Apnea with fins and freedive to 32m in open water. At the end of the course you will be able to freedive comfortably to depths of 32/38 meters.

Prerequisites:
Have completed the AIDA 3 Advanced Freediver course or qualifying certification from another freediver organization - cross over evaluation will be performed and it is not included in the course fee.
Do not have any medical conditions.

Have a First Emergency Responder (EFR) certificate or equivalent (e.g. Red Cross, Nurse license...), not holder than 2 years.
